educators should be appropriately prepared to include students with
disabilities in their instruction.

All children, youth and adults with
disabilities should have complete access to community cultural
facilities and activities.

aspire to careers in the arts should have the opportunity to develop

Exhibits and Galleries:
VSA MS partners with area museums, galleries, and other public venues to
offer public awareness of artists with disabilities through regular
exhibiting opportunities. VSA MS artists participate in the Goodwill
Art Show, Fondren Unwrapped, Arts, Eats and Beats, Mississippi Arts
Commission, Mississippi Library Commission, Municipal Art Gallery,
Vicksburg Art Association, Mississippi Watercolor Society, and others
arts events and activities. The VSA MS Studio/Gallery serves as a
permanent gallery for exhibits of works by artists with disabilities.
